Short speech to welcome the winners of the Contest.

Giuseppe Talarico will lead a workshop for the winners of the Contest.

Few speakers belonging to illustration and visual arts professional domains will talk trought their experience and projects.

Afternoon

Open since few days before 24th May will host professionals illustrations.

Illustrator & Graphic Designer

Giuseppe Talarico

After a winding path, made up of jobs that had little or nothing to do with art and design, in 2016 he finally approached the world of creativity. This atypical background makes him extremely versatile and open to collaborations ranging from publishing to the streetwear world. Since 2022, he has been the art director of the project THE CALABRESER, a creative challenge that allows him to put all his experience and vision into practice. In 2025, he founded Colosso Studio, a creative agency based in Reggio Calabria. He currently works as a freelance Illustrator and Art Director.

Photographer and Artistic Director

Anna Catalano

Founder and artistic and project director of Fotografia Calabria Festival. Freelance photographer, collaborates with companies, NGOs, universities, institutions, and newsrooms. With the project "Senza Colpe" which has become a traveling exhibition, she is helping to inform and raise public awareness on the issue of children detained with their mothers in ICAMs and nursery sections in Italy.

Architect and Artistic Director

Matteo Sainato

Architect, graduated from La Sapienza University in Rome, he has been leading Studio Sainato since 2007, focusing on residential and hospitality design. Also an expert in tourism and hotel management, he holds executive and consulting roles in the field. He has served as a board member of the Catanzaro Order of Architects (2021–2025) and, since 2023, as the artistic director of MUDIAC. Actively involved in cultural and community initiatives, he is also passionate about photography. He trained at the ICP in New York and the European Institute of Design in Rome, where he earned a Master’s degree. He combines creativity and strategic vision to enhance the value of the territory through architecture, art, and tourism.

Consultant, cultural designer, lawyer

Deborah De Rose

Communication consultant, also a cultural designer and lawyer specialized in copyright and intellectual property law. She is the Art Director of the Cose Belle Festival – creativity, illustration, and design (cosebellefestival.it), which in 2025 reaches its 9th edition. She created the artist residency project Cose Belle OFF – Artist Residency for illustrators, and the international illustration competition Cose Belle Illustration Contest. She founded the brand Calabria Illustrata, to create products and services that tell the story of the Calabria region through the involvement of talented illustrators. She is also the President of the association Interazioni Creative.
