The Radici Festival, which aims to promote creativity and artistic interpretation, is an initiative of APS AttivaMente, a cultural association, with the patronage of the Municipality of San Lucido (CS). The initiative is cultural and non-profit, organized in collaboration with volunteers, collaborators, and partners who believe in the purely cultural and social value of the event. The official website of the Festival is www.radici-festival.it.

Target Audience

Professionals and virtuous entities connected to the world of illustration or the festival’s theme.

How to Apply

Send an email to info@radici-festival.it or contact us on Instagram at radici.festival.official with the details listed below depending on your role. Attach the regulations acceptance form and the privacy policy form completed and signed.

Call Access

The entire initiative is non-profit and has purely cultural value. Application and participation are free. Your participation is considered voluntary, spontaneous, and unpaid, with no compensation, reimbursements, contributions, allowances, or other benefits regardless of the role performed. Your participation is therefore purely for cultural and non-profit purposes.

Participants assume full responsibility for the materials submitted, guaranteeing they hold all rights to them and agreeing to indemnify and hold the association harmless from any damages or claims, including those arising after the Festival.

The granting of usage rights for the works is free of charge, non-exclusive, and indefinite in time, even after the Festival ends.

Participation in the Festival implies the waiver of any claims, compensation requests, or legal actions against the association (including volunteers, collaborators, and partners).

For any disputes, the Court of Cosenza will have exclusive jurisdiction.

For Jury Members

You can submit your application through the contacts listed in 'How to Apply'. Include a link to your professional profile and explain why we can't do without you as a jury member.

What We Expect From You

For Exhibitors

You can submit your application through the contacts listed in 'How to Apply'. Include a link to your professional profile and explain why we can't do without you as an exhibitor. If you’re available, your presence at the Festival day would make us happy.

What We Expect From You

We’d like to exhibit 3 prints of your A3-sized illustrations. We will take care of the printing and exhibition setup. The printing will be done on A3 paper (e.g. at least 300g hammered or glossy). The exhibition will likely be held at the Municipal Cloister of San Lucido (CS), set up by us in the days leading up to the Festival (May 24) and remain on display for a few days afterward to give visibility to the works and their creators. Please send three illustrations related to the theme "Roots", a short caption for each, and a link to a brief professional bio.

For Speakers

You can submit your application through the contacts listed in 'How to Apply'. Include a link to your professional profile and explain why we can't do without you as a speaker.

What We Expect From You

We’d like you to present your virtuous project on May 24 at the event location, in a talk lasting no more than 15 minutes. Tell us about your project, how you realized it, the challenges, failures, and successes. This could be inspiring for the young audience at the Festival.

Rights on Works and Projects

The rights to the works or talk content remain with their respective authors. The authors grant AttivaMente (including its volunteers, collaborators, and partners) the right to use the works or talk materials on any media, social platforms, or websites, even after the Festival, solely for the purpose of conducting, promoting, and supporting the Radici Festival. Participants waive any economic claims and will not request compensation or copyright fees. Given the public nature of the talks and exhibitions, the audience is allowed to view, photograph, and record the works. AttivaMente (including its volunteers, collaborators, and partners) will not be held responsible for third-party behavior that violates the rights of exhibitors, speakers, or jury members. No disputes will be entertained with AttivaMente (including its volunteers, collaborators, and partners).

The association AttivaMente (including its volunteers, collaborators, and partners) commits to always crediting the rightful author of the work or content used.

Association Responsibility

Participants guarantee that all content shared for the application and during the Festival does not infringe upon any third-party rights, and they release the entire association AttivaMente (including its volunteers, collaborators, and partners) from any liability for issues that may arise. Participants therefore assume full responsibility for the materials sent, guaranteeing they hold all rights and agreeing to indemnify and hold harmless the association from any consequences or claims, even after the Festival.

The association AttivaMente (including its volunteers, collaborators, and partners) will not be responsible for any damages, thefts, losses, or deterioration of displayed works, or for accidents involving participants and/or visitors during the event.

The association AttivaMente (including its volunteers, collaborators, and partners) may resolve any unforeseen situations not covered in this regulation. In case of emergencies, natural disasters, pandemics, or other events, the association reserves the right to interrupt, cancel, postpone the contest or related events, or modify this regulation at any time based on the needs of the initiative. No compensation will be recognized to participants for the above scenarios. Participation in the Festival implies full acceptance of these regulations.

For any disputes, the Court of Cosenza will have exclusive jurisdiction.

Regulation Changes

The association reserves the right to modify the initiative's regulations. By participating in the call, applicants fully and unreservedly accept these regulations. In case of violation of the conditions, the association (including its volunteers, collaborators, and partners) reserves the right to exclude the participant and take any necessary legal action.

Right of Recourse Waiver

Participation in the Festival implies the waiver of any recourse, compensation claim, or legal action against the association AttivaMente (including its volunteers, collaborators, and partners).

Privacy and Data Processing
